The KAV-500 is a modular power amplifier that delivers KrellŪ traditional quality and performance for multi-channel applications. The KAV-500 is able to drive an entire home theater system by itself or it can be configured to support systems containing other power amplifiers. For example, the KAV-500 configured for three channels powers a center channel speaker and one pair of surround speakers in a home theater, while the front main speakers are driven by the more powerful KAV-250A stereo amplifier. 	Configurable chassis allows two, three, four, or five-channel operation to complement any multi-channel system.
	Massive 1000 Watt power supply insures that each channel receives the appropriate voltage and current at all times, regardless of input signal or speaker load.
	Each identical channel is rated at 100 Watts per channel into 8 Ohms and 200 Watts per channel into 4 Ohms to assure tremendous dynamic headroom for life-like soundtracks and special effect passages. Adjacent channels are bridgeable to deliver 400 Watts.
	Balanced and single-ended operation allows maximum flexibility for compatibility with other equipment.
	Proprietary KrellŪ output and driver transistors assure substantial output current capability.
